Job Title: Senior Registrar Radiology

Job Summary:

A Radiology Senior Registrar is responsible for performing and reporting on radiological procedures and scans, demonstrating advanced clinical skills in the specialized field, and providing leadership in delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage complex medical cases independently.
• Provide expert consultations on challenging medical cases.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and residents.
• Collaborate closely with consultants and specialists in multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to the training and development of medical teams.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Implement and adhere to evidence-based medical practices.
• Assume leadership responsibilities within the medical department.
• Contribute to decision-making processes related to patient care and departmental policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
• Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or subspecialty.
• Board certification in the relevant medical specialty is typically required or equivalent.
• A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
• Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

Professional Experience:

• From 2 to 4 years of experience after certification.
• A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable.
