Job Overview

The role holder shall perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities of the HF Radio within their designated area for sites within the scope of services. This position requires a strong understanding of telecommunications principles, route cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To perform the corrective and preventative maintenance of all HF Radio transmitting and receiving equipment to company standards.
  2. To submit an MSO and fault report for all assigned incidents.
  3. To assist in the installation of system enhancements as required.
  4. To be conversant with the procedures applicable to the section.
  5. To carry out any other ancillary tasks related to the main job function as delegated by the HF Team Leader.
Requirements:

A recognized post-secondary education qualification and apprenticeship in the telecommunications field are essential. At least 3 years general engineering or military experience in a relevant discipline is also required.
