About the Role

The JASARA Program Management Company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager - Planning to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning processes across various projects, ensuring that they align with the strategic objectives of the organization.

You will collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Champion: You will champion the 'Safety First' value, specifically confident in enacting 'Stop Work' authority, engage in relevant health/safety/wellbeing standards and behaviors.
  • Leadership Behaviors: Demonstrate leadership behaviors, in line with the company values, at all times.
  • Team Management: Manage the team's deliverables through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance.
  • Planning Leadership: Lead the team in all aspects of Planning, Cost, Resourcing & Risk.
  • Project Support: Supports Project Management function in delivery / tender, as required, ensuring they are delivered on time and profitably.
  • Schedule Management: Ensure the team adheres to the Schedule management plan, Planning processes and WOW.
  • Service Quality: Improve the provision and quality of services provided to the Project teams.
  • Schedule Presentation: Lead the improvements of the quality of schedule presentation, information, and documentation.
  • Problem-Solving: Assess the impacts of design/construction changes and schedule slippages, works with team to provide solutions.
  • Communication: Leads communication & collaboration with other teams.
  • Integration Planning: Manage the integration plans with stakeholders, key interfaces, and others.
  • Progress Tracking: Reviews Project progress track & reporting and communicate updates to stakeholders, Senior Management / Board.
  • Quality Improvement: Leads the improvements, ensures optimal project schedule quality, and evaluates reports.
  • Schedule Briefing: Briefs team to ensure that the schedule fundamental principles and details are understood by the Team and are transferred to the construction phase of the project.
  • Validation: Validates Baseline / Target schedules before submission.
  • Work Management: Manages the planning and scheduling own work to meet required timelines and outputs.
  • Schedule Updates: Leads the weekly / monthly updating of schedules as design and construction work develops.
  • Query Response: Responds accurately and in a timely manner to team queries regarding the content of the schedule submission.
  • Strategic Planning: Leads the strategic planning exercises with wider team.
  • Process Implementation: Assesses inputs in setting up processes and procedures to implement it.
  • Interface Management: Identifies key interfaces and manages them efficiently to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Commercial Coordination: Leads coordination with commercial function to implement an effective controls system covering budget, cost, reporting, risk, and change management.
