We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Afaq - Warehouse Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety regulations and policies are adhered to, conducting preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, and providing high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
This role includes working in a non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:- Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work carried out, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for FC assets, including material handling and automation systems.
- Be experienced in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various industrial equipment components, such as relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, mechanical components (rolls, bearings, belts).
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team, promoting safe working practices across the site.
- Manage day-to-day engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and upkeep of premises.
- Ensure EHS and statutory compliance of FC, including waste management and hazardous waste management as per bylaws, timely renewal of licenses.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels in the organization.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance individual performance.
- Prioritize and manage resources under high pressure.
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including conveyor system maintenance, supervise maintenance work and sub-contractors, ensure implementation of facility systems checks through computerized maintenance management system, and provide technical guidance for MHE and BB maintenance.
- Support technicians by motivating, providing knowledge, and hands-on experience.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Experience in functional maintenance in a reliability-centered maintenance environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of diverse MHS, industrial mechanical and electrical systems, and automation, controls, and robotics systems is essential.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or automation engineering, or related field is required.
- Experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation, and maintenance is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of facility maintenance and facility management systems, tools, and procedures is necessary.
