The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting operations, with a strong focus on financial control, treasury management, and accounts payable/accounts receivable functions. This role involves ensuring timely collections, closing of accounts, related reconciliations, and adherence to internal controls and statutory/legal requirements.
Key responsibilities include maintaining customer and supplier accounts, conducting credit control and ageing analysis, providing operational treasury support, and supporting the Group Finance Manager in internal & external audit activities.
This position requires excellent accounting and internal control awareness, data processing skills, and ERP functional experience. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is considered advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer and supplier transactions.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers and payment of invoices to suppliers.
- Conduct regular ageing analysis to identify potential credit risks and take necessary actions.
- Provide operational treasury support, including preparation and execution of all payments from the bank and bank reconciliations.
- Support the Group Finance Manager in internal & external audit activities.
