Job Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of aviation personnel by maintaining and repairing life support equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) and a strong understanding of safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on ALSE equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Perform repairs and replacements as needed, following established procedures
  • Manage inventory and requisitioning processes for necessary equipment
  • Provide training to personnel on the use of technical publications and equipment
  • Assist in developing and implementing safety procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • Three years of experience working with ALSE, preferably in a military or aviation environment
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
