This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of school services. The successful candidate will oversee cafeteria operations, support front desk functions, coordinate house inspections, and follow up on necessary actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Cafeteria Operations- Supervise stock levels of tableware and cafeteria essentials.
- Ensure effective communication between School Services and staff working in the cafeteria.
- Provide cover at the front desk in the absence of the receptionist.
- Maintain accurate records of school-provided housing allocations.
- Support allocated staff house inspections and follow up on necessary actions.
- Identify maintenance issues and raise tickets for repairs.
- Update pet registers as needed.
- Coordinate pest control schedules and preventive maintenance measures with school residents.
- Support house inspections, organization of house moves, and communication with the facilities team.
- Ensure school recycling efforts are upheld.
- Support student council, sustainability teams, and Eco Leaders in implementing new initiatives.
- Provide assistance during peak periods as needed.
- Perform other tasks related to the School Services Department assigned by the School Services Manager.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge or interest in sustainability and environmental initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or coordinating role in an international school or hospitality.
- Fluent English speaker, good understanding of Arabic is an advantage.
