Vectrus is seeking an Aviation Electronics Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electronic and avionic systems on AH-64 aircraft. The selected candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic and avionic principles and must be able to interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have five (5) years' experience as an aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician. A three-year experience in ASE duties on AH-64 series aircraft will also be required. Additionally, a graduate of a US Military Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) technician course or civilian equivalent training and experience will be preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in electronic and avionic systems on AH-64 aircraft.
- Repair and replace faulty electronic and avionic components.
- Test and verify the functionality of repaired systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- An Associate's Degree Preferred.
- Five (5) Years' Experience as an Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician.
- Three (3) Years' Experience as an AH-64 Series Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician.
- Graduate of a US Military Aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician Course or Civilian Equivalent Training and Experience.
- Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft-related documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office software.
- Possess a valid US-issued driver's license and passport.
