Masterplanning Director

Our team is seeking an experienced Masterplanning Lead to join our dynamic group in Riyadh, KSA.

The successful candidate will report directly to the PMO Lead and play a pivotal role in leading masterplanning efforts for large-scale urban regeneration and placemaking projects.

• Masterplanning Leadership: Drive the design and implementation of masterplans that integrate urban design, landscape architecture, and heritage considerations.
• Team Coordination: Lead multidisciplinary teams of urban designers, planners, landscape architects, and consultants to ensure a cohesive approach and successful integration of diverse technical inputs.
• Placemaking & Urban Regeneration: Develop sustainable, vibrant, and resilient communities by prioritizing heritage conservation and urban regeneration in line with the cultural and historical context of Riyadh.
• Form-based & Performance-based Codes: Provide expert guidance on the application of form-based and performance-based codes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and foster high-quality urban development.
• Design Reviews & Technical Leadership: Undertake and coordinate integrated technical reviews of design work done by internal teams and consultants, providing practical and analytical advice to address design and implementation challenges.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including governmental bodies, local communities, contractors, and consultants, to facilitate design charrettes, workshops, and presentations that communicate masterplanning strategies and foster collaboration.
• Program and Project Integration: Work closely with the PMO Lead to ensure that masterplanning strategies are integrated within the larger program framework and aligned with broader project goals.
