As a Sales Manager – Events, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal by driving revenue growth through effective event sales and business development strategies. Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, pitching and presenting event services, and attending client meetings, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate leads, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and pitch and present event services.
  • Tender Management: Monitor government and private sector tender portals, assess tender opportunities, work with internal teams to prepare proposals and quotations, and manage the sales cycle for tender-based projects.
  • CRM Management: Utilize CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and pipeline progress, and collaborate with marketing and creative teams to enhance sales efforts and client acquisition strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales within the events industry, with a strong track record of closing deals.
  • Experience with tenders, RFQs, and RFPs within the government and private sectors.
  • Strong negotiation and business development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
