Job Description

The Senior Cybersecurity Professional will be responsible for protecting the bank's information systems from cyber threats. This role includes implementing security measures, monitoring for breaches, and responding to incidents.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures in accordance with Saudi regulations (Information Security, Business Continuity), monitor network traffic for unusual activities and potential threats.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability tests.
  • Respond to security incidents and manage incident response protocols.
  • Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Information Security (IS) plans, including programs, systems, and standards relating to information security to mitigate risk and ensure the full protection and integrity of concerned assets.
  • Assist the Group BCM function in the identification and establishment of disaster recovery sites in coordination with IT and other relevant functions to mitigate risks in the event of a disaster or operational disruption.
  • Conduct risk assessments and penetration tests to identify current and future security vulnerabilities and flaws in information systems.
  • Bring pressing information security vulnerabilities/risks to top management's attention for immediate remedial action.
  • Manage the monitoring of information security violations and provide recommendations on corrective action.
  • Assist in the review of applications and/or technology environments during the development or acquisition process.
  • Review user access profiles of critical financial systems and conduct forensic analysis and cyber-crime investigations.
  • Maintain security assessment methodologies for IT infrastructure changes in line with the bank's information security policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the operational effectiveness and readiness of the disaster recovery site through regular inspections.
  • Ensure recovery capabilities meet business requirements through regular testing in coordination with IT.
  • Maintain a log of incidents and review reports before presenting to top management.
  • Participate in management of change through continuous improvement of functional systems, processes, and practices.
  • Review the IRQ for new vendors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
  • 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
