About the Role:

The Associate Director of Asset Development will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our company's asset base. This position will be responsible for partnering with business units across the organization to ensure successful execution of stage gate processes and streamline operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Stage Gate Process Management: Partner with business units to provide guidance on stage gate deliverables and ensure compliance with templates and governance structures.
  2. Business Unit Support: Provide proactive support to business units throughout the asset development cycle and process, ensuring timely delivery of stage gate reviews and feedback.
  3. Process Improvement: Propose updates to stage gate processes and deliverable templates based on feedback from internal teams and stakeholders.
  4. Budget Oversight: Manage project tracking systems to monitor progress on key performance metrics, timelines, and budgets.
  5. Risk Management: Implement risk management frameworks to identify potential risks and integrate mitigation strategies across asset development operations.

Minimum Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in construction, project management, real estate, or a related field, and 8-10 years of experience in real estate construction projects. You must have an understanding of the real estate construction process and lifecycle, including construction documents, development briefs, RFPs, tender documents, and deliverables.
