Job Description

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our review cataloguing team, responsible for reviewing and cataloging spare parts data packages. This role involves ensuring the availability of all data elements and documentation required to correctly identify, catalog, and purchase equipment and associated components and spare parts in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive and thorough reviews of spare parts data packages, adhering to established guidelines to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Identify discrepancies within the spare parts data package and communicate with stakeholders to acquire missing information.
  3. Obtain information from Aramco's SAP system and catalogue equipment in the SAP system.
  4. Review and catalogue a range of equipment, including valves, pumps, turbines, elevators, compressors, mixers, fans, and other mechanical equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Work experience of 1-7 years in a related field.
  • Competence in installation and repair of various mechanical equipment.
  • Competence in recognizing and cataloging mechanical spare parts.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including P&ID, Bill of Materials, Dimensional Drawing, and Cross-Sectional Drawing.
  • Understanding of various manufacturing standards, including ASME, JIS, ANSI, and SAMSS.
  • Design experience is an asset but not required.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
