Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Infrastructure & SRE to lead our cloud infrastructure strategy and operations. This role involves strategic planning, management, and execution of infrastructure projects to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, cloud technologies, and a proven track record of leading successful SRE and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Infrastructure & SRE, your daily workload might include:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of multi cloud-based infrastructure.
  3. Evaluate and implement new policies and processes to improve infrastructure efficiency, scalability and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  4. Lead and manage the infrastructure teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  5. Oversee and mentor managers and team leads within the infrastructure team to ensure effective leadership and operational efficiency.
  6. Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers.
  7. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal service delivery.
  8. Work with the CyberSecurity department to develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company data and infrastructure.
  9. Optimize infrastructure costs and performance through continuous analysis and improvement.
  10. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements

Our target profile is candidates with:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 12+ years of experience in infrastructure management, DevOps or SRE roles, with a proven track record in managing multiple teams.
  3. Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Oracle, Google Cloud) and on-premises data centers.
  4. Strong knowledge of networking, security, and systems architecture.
  5. Experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
  6. Excellent leadership, mentorship, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
