Synopsis

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of site preparation and temporary works construction on-site for conformance with contract documents.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant safety rules at the site and monitor work compliance with security, health, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct daily briefings with site team leaders to follow up and report on work progress, anticipating potential delays in planned tasks.
  • Take immediate corrective action to prevent cumulative effects of deviations and recover delays to complete tasks on time.
  • Assist the Project Manager in supervising and managing construction activities for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate in planning and sequencing construction operations according to the Project Quality Plan.
  • Regularly inspect and assess work performance by subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and resolve discrepancies and problems arising during construction affecting work quality.
  • Coordinate structural works with other disciplines.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 12 years of experience as a Structural Engineer on-site or in supervision for large-scale civil projects.

In-depth knowledge of concrete repairs, load testing, strengthening of foundations, columns jacketing, rebar extensions, etc.

Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking).
