Job Summary

The Business Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making within the Marine Services function at NEOM. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business cases, financial models, and data analytics to support strategic investments and operations optimization.
  • Lead data capture and modeling efforts to optimize operational efficiency and inform business decisions.
  • Design and administer business processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and evaluate market trends.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the Port of Neom decarbonization strategy, focusing on marine services.
  • Review and reconfigure tariffs, associated process flows, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and strategic plans to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Procurement, Fleet, Operations, Human Resources, and HSSEQ, to ensure cohesive approach.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced expertise in Thinkcell, Microsoft Visio, and Project.
  • Experience in Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other programming languages.
  • Strong experience in data insights, analytics, business modeling, and reporting.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, challenging established norms.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in an investment bank, big 4 consultancy, corporate advisory firm, or business development team building financial models and providing analysis.
  • Demonstrated analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal stakeholders.
  • High tenacity and persistence to follow through on issues, able to work with ambiguity.
  • Self-starter with a strong personal drive to deliver and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven skills in building relationships with stakeholders and/or customers, internal & external.

  • A Bachelor degree in a relevant field with a major in finance / business / data analytics.
