Job Description

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Pre Contract/ Commercial Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing post-contract QS services, including commercial contract administration, cost planning, and variation analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial contract administration services, including variation analysis and payment certificate preparation.
  • Conduct cost planning and risk management activities to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project value.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure commercial requirements are met.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of commercial transactions and correspondence.
  • Perform commercial contract administration and change management activities.
  • Undertake costs analysis project work, prepare estimates of variation works, and identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Prepare cost reports and monitor cash flow to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Report to client representatives on all commercial issues and participate in commercial meetings.
  • Manage workload with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience of FIDIC contracts.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years post-contract experience.
  • Must have consultant and/or client background for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Knowledge in the use of QS software or similar is required.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Team and/or independent worker.
  • Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
