Job Summary:
The Banquet Coordinator is a key member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banqueting events from enquiry to conclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Banquet team in managing all aspects of banqueting events, including coordination, planning, and execution.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, health, and safety legislation, as well as organisational quality requirements.
- Manage and coordinate food and drinks/beverages preparation, fixture, fittings, and equipment lists.
- Assist in quality management of food and drinks/beverages.
- Assist the Banquet Manager in investigating and resolving customer complaints.
- Manage customer expectations and resolve concerns/queries.
- Maintain accurate records and accounts as required and report as agreed.
- Set an example for team members of commitment, work ethic, and personal character.
- Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures.
- Manage all event operations, including preparing venues, invitations, and conducting final checks to ensure everything meets standards.
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems.
- Evaluate event success and submit reports.
- Participate in special projects as reasonably required by the job role.
- Be responsible for your allocated workload and meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager.
Requirements:
- Saudi nationality
- Good English language skills
- 1 year of experience preferred
