Job Summary:

The Banquet Coordinator is a key member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banqueting events from enquiry to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Banquet team in managing all aspects of banqueting events, including coordination, planning, and execution.
  2. Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, health, and safety legislation, as well as organisational quality requirements.
  3. Manage and coordinate food and drinks/beverages preparation, fixture, fittings, and equipment lists.
  4. Assist in quality management of food and drinks/beverages.
  5. Assist the Banquet Manager in investigating and resolving customer complaints.
  6. Manage customer expectations and resolve concerns/queries.
  7. Maintain accurate records and accounts as required and report as agreed.
  8. Set an example for team members of commitment, work ethic, and personal character.
  9. Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures.
  10. Manage all event operations, including preparing venues, invitations, and conducting final checks to ensure everything meets standards.
  11. Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems.
  12. Evaluate event success and submit reports.
  13. Participate in special projects as reasonably required by the job role.
  14. Be responsible for your allocated workload and meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Saudi nationality
  2. Good English language skills
  3. 1 year of experience preferred
