Position: Infrastructure and Network Security Specialist

Asterix Communications | Center of Excellence is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastructure and Network Security Specialist to join our team. As an Infrastructure and Network Security Specialist, you will work closely with clients to assess their infrastructure and network security needs, design and implement appropriate security solutions, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure and network security, with extensive knowledge of industry best practices and proven expertise in designing and implementing security solutions. They will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with clients to assess their infrastructure and network security needs
  2. Design and implement infrastructure and network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, and antivirus systems
  3. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scanning to identify potential risks and weaknesses in clients' systems
  4. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
  5. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for security solutions, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in infrastructure and network security
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of security solutions
  8. Conduct security awareness training and education for clients and end-users
  9. Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches
  10. Present security recommendations and solutions to clients and key stakeholders
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. Proven experience in infrastructure and network security
  3. Strong knowledge of industry best practices in infrastructure and network security
  4. Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, and antivirus systems
  5. 8 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing security solutions
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams
  8. Experience in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scanning
  9. Relevant certifications in infrastructure and network security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNA Security) are a Must
  10. Network Certifications i.e CISCO Expertise in network security
  11. Ability to assess and enhance infrastructure security
