Telehealth Psychiatrist

The Senior Registrar - Psychiatry role is responsible for the following key areas:

• Conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
• Providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients through secure telehealth platforms and in-person care
• Gathering patient history, observing patient behavior and mood, and administering appropriate diagnostic tests or questionnaires
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications
• Collaborating with patients to set treatment goals, select appropriate therapies and medications, and regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans as needed
