Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our team as a Personal Care Portfolio Development Manager. This role is responsible for managing the product mix of the category to achieve commercial KPIs in line with the department's strategy and supplier relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Portfolio Management:
    • Develop and execute the category portfolio strategy based on customer needs, market insights, and alignment with divisional strategy.
    • Create new segments based on customer needs, list new products, and differentiate Nahdi assortments to satisfy customers' needs and cover missed gaps.
  • Category Supplier Relationships:
    • Develop and manage relationships with category suppliers to drive joint business plans and maximize financial benefits.
  • Category Strategy Development:
    • Analyze market trends through market data, shopper insights, and anticipate future trends to enable divisional strategy development.
  • Category SKUs Management:
    • Drive listing/delisting cycles of category SKUs, create seeding plans, and manage delisting through canceling, recalling, and preparing liquidation plans.
    • Manage distribution models through assortment control and regular model updates with merchandising planning departments.
  • Planogram Coordination:
    • Coordinate product displays with space planning and marketing teams based on shoppers' insights, category strategy, and financial objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with marketing departments and suppliers to develop and execute consumer communication strategies.
    • Prioritize commercial training scope with suppliers for new products' materials.
    • Develop pricing strategies and tactics based on category strategy and role to maximize financial benefits.

Work Environment:

We offer a dynamic work environment with 80% indoor and 20% outdoor activities, 5 working days, 2 days off, and standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour break.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 years of experience in retail
  • MS Office Suite skills
  • English and Arabic language proficiency
