About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Food Safety Quality Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for reviewing the quality of inbound shipments, identifying and addressing any quality issues, and collaborating with internal teams to implement process improvements.

You will also be responsible for auditing the quality of picking and packing processes, monitoring packaging standards, and performing daily audits of bins to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review the quality of meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and other perishable items during the inbound process.
  2. Identify and address quality issues with vendors.
  3. Audit the quality of picking and packing processes.
  4. Monitor packaging standards during the packing process.
  5. Perform daily audits of bins and report findings.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  3. HACCP, PIC 3 (Person In Charge) – certified by SFDA / Highfield Food safety level 4, ISO 22000, GMP.
  4. Knowledge of fruits and Vegetable Quality specifications.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Leadership experience.
  2. Experience in food safety and quality assurance.
  3. Knowledge of Arabic language is preferred.
