Amentum's HVAC Technician Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Amentum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with experience in installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled periodic maintenance and seasonal overhaul on HVAC/R systems and components to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Manage HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs and activities to support various ACCOM systems.
• Conduct planning activities and facility surveys to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operation of HVAC/R systems.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Applicable CFC/EPA certification, such as Section 608 Certification (Universal).
• Formal HVAC/R training, such as military technical training school, vocational college, or a four-year apprentice program.
• Four years of practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain.
