Job Overview

HungerStation is a leading food delivery company seeking an experienced Staff Security Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. As a Staff Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our applications, infrastructure, and data.

Responsibilities

Application Security:
  1. Evaluate and ensure implementation of secure coding standards across all development teams.
  2. Conduct manual code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.
  3. Develop and integrate security modules into CI/CD pipelines to automate security testing and validation.
  4. Collaborate with engineers to resolve identified security vulnerabilities and implement remediation plans.
Penetration Testing and Red Teaming:
  1. Perform white box and black box vulnerability assessments for web, mobile apps, and cloud infrastructure.
  2. Design and conduct advanced red teaming exercises to simulate real-world attacks.
  3. Produce detailed security assessment reports and follow up on mitigation action plans to ensure effective implementation.
Cloud Security:
  1. Implement and maintain security tools and controls to protect cloud infrastructure and data.
  2. Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures to mitigate external and internal threats.
  3. Enhance security monitoring of cloud infrastructure to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
Governance and Resilience:
  1. Foster a culture of compliance by following all relevant policies, procedures, and processes.
  2. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of work processes, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
  3. Promote policy awareness and adherence among employees to ensure a secure working environment.
Daily Operations:
  1. Ensure continuity of daily operations and tasks to meet job requirements.
  2. Prepare timely and accurate reports to support decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  3. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing needs promptly and courteously.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in security engineering with a strong background in penetration testing, application security, and cloud security.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree highly preferred.
  • Certification in OSCP or CDP mandatory; OSCE and CDE certifications a plus.
  • Proven expertise in penetration testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Strong proficiency in integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud information security, including generating and monitoring security alerts effectively.
  • Familiarity with security infrastructure and operations tools and practices, such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
  • Experience with cloud penetration testing an advantage.
