Botanical Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Botanist to join our team for a period of 4-6 months. The successful candidate will provide full-time support in the execution of a comprehensive Tree Field Survey, generating a detailed inventory of date palms, native, and exotic trees. The survey will also involve tagging/retagging of various trees and updating the existing tree inventory.

• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, implementing risk management strategies and utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Tree Tagging Activities: Participate in the collection of data from approximately 27,000 trees, ensuring accurate and calibrated data collection within the field app.

• Qualifications: BSc or MSc in Botany, Biology, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent.
• Essential Skills/Experience: Strong English communication skills, ability to work in a team, willingness to work in the field 5 days a week, and no prior experience required.
