Job Title: Senior Creative Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Creative Lead to join our team. As a Senior Creative Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, design, and printing of promotional materials for our tourism events' marketing. You will work closely with our marketing team, stakeholders, and external freelancers to support our overarching marketing strategy and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Work with marketers and other internal stakeholders to create materials for campaign promotion, internal documentation, and content marketing projects.
  2. Brand Management: Ensure branding guidelines and workflows are clearly communicated for production of artwork.
  3. Design and Research: Research design sources and new ideas to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  4. Artwork Preparation: Prepare artwork for print, outdoor, and digital platforms.
  5. Urgent Requests: Be prepared to cater to any urgent requests from senior stakeholders.
  6. Concept Development: Develop new concepts and templates to enhance our marketing materials.
  7. Picture Research and Image Manipulation: Conduct picture research and manipulate images to meet our branding standards.
  8. Supplier Management: Liaise and negotiate with external suppliers to ensure efficient and effective services.
  9. Event Management: Manage multiple events and ensure that all marketing materials are delivered on time.
  10. Freelancer Management: Have an existing pool of freelancers to delegate and manage or be able to create a pool to manage deadlines.
  11. Template Creation: Create templates (mainly PowerPoint) so that marketers can produce promotional materials that meet branding standards.
  12. Schedule Management: Organise and manage the work schedule to ensure that guidelines are clearly communicated and deadlines are met.
  13. Digital Strategy: Support the marketing department's digital strategy by expanding services offered (video, web design).
  14. Printer Management: Develop relationships with commercial printers to maximise efficiencies and service levels.
  15. Budget Management: Manage the Marketing Design budget.

Qualifications and Skills:

Key Qualifications & Qualities:

This role is open to KSA Nationals only. Advanced knowledge of page layout, proof marks/mark-ups, stylesheets, and ability to follow design templates is required. Good knowledge of Litho Printing, Digital Printing, 4 colour process, and Pantone Colours is also necessary. Colour correction and picture manipulation skills are essential. Good knowledge of the difference between web and print design is required. Very good knowledge of Mac OS, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat is necessary. Good knowledge of Illustrator and Premiere Pro is also required. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred. Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Communication: Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Workload management: Ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks and projects, delivering on time.
