We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team at Ben Khan. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field of Nuclear Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide expert patient care in Abdominal Radiology, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
- Offer consultation services to inpatients and emergency room patients, responding in a timely manner.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records.
- Provide on-call services and maintain availability within hospital-prescribed timeframes.
- Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge.
- Perform other clinical responsibilities related to Nuclear Medicine, as assigned.
- Academic Responsibilities:
- Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in departmental educational activities and training programs.
- Engage in national and international medical conferences.
- Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and continuing education requirements.
- Research Responsibilities:
- Participate in clinical, basic, and translational research projects to advance knowledge and improve postgraduate education.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Undertake administrative duties assigned by the Head of Section or Chairman.
- Participate in departmental and hospital committees, and other administrative functions, as required.
- Assist in developing and implementing techniques to maximize resource utilization within the department and hospital.
- Adhere to hospital and medical staff bylaws, rules, and policies.
- Follow hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Participate in self-and others' education, training, and development, as applicable.
