Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team at Ben Khan. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field of Nuclear Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Provide expert patient care in Abdominal Radiology, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
    • Offer consultation services to inpatients and emergency room patients, responding in a timely manner.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records.
    • Provide on-call services and maintain availability within hospital-prescribed timeframes.
    • Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge.
    • Perform other clinical responsibilities related to Nuclear Medicine, as assigned.
  2. Academic Responsibilities:
    • Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows.
    • Participate in departmental educational activities and training programs.
    • Engage in national and international medical conferences.
    • Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and continuing education requirements.
  3. Research Responsibilities:
    • Participate in clinical, basic, and translational research projects to advance knowledge and improve postgraduate education.
  4. Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Undertake administrative duties assigned by the Head of Section or Chairman.
    • Participate in departmental and hospital committees, and other administrative functions, as required.
    • Assist in developing and implementing techniques to maximize resource utilization within the department and hospital.
    • Adhere to hospital and medical staff bylaws, rules, and policies.
    • Follow hospital-related policies and procedures.
    • Participate in self-and others' education, training, and development, as applicable.
