We are seeking a Country Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a Country Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with member countries to support the implementation of Islamic Development Bank policies, strategies, and programs. Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical assistance to member countries, supporting the development of country strategies, and contributing to policy dialogue with governments, multilateral institutions, and NGOs. You will also lead multi-stakeholder teams for dialogue with member countries on CPS work for the region, policy engagements, underlying diagnostic and analytical work.
You will have a Master's degree in Economics, International Development, or Public Policy, and a minimum of 5 years of experience as an economist in the development sector, with active involvement in development of country strategies. You will also have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in R, Python, Stata, or similar statistical tools.
