We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVDC Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing first-line support and maintenance services for our HVDC clients. This includes working closely with our existing Service Team to develop the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
About the Role
- Provide first-line support and maintenance services for our HVDC clients.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all site employees and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with our code of conduct.
- Work closely with our Health, Safety, and Environmental teams to manage risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our valued customers.
- Live our company values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and demonstrating care for your colleagues and the business.
Your Background
- Relevant experience in HV power systems or a similar industrial environment.
- Safety switching experience/power plant operational experience/general certificate in occupational health and safety/IT/cyber security experience.
- Proven track record of providing safe and effective solutions.
- Maintenance/fault-finding experience with UPS systems, Battery Chargers, Air Handling Units, Pumps, PLCs & Generators.
- Valid driving license.
- Fire detection and protection system awareness/maintenance experience.
- Maintenance/fault-finding experience with SCADA/PLCs and control systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
