Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Administer prescribed medications, apply sterile dressings, perform phlebotomy, and monitor vital signs to ensure patients receive quality, compassionate, and ethical care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work with physicians, other nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive care to patients, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assess and Treat Patient Conditions: Evaluate patients' conditions, assess their needs, and develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform Specialized Nursing Procedures: Conduct specialized nursing procedures related to the unique needs of a particular patient population, such as injections and catheterizations.
- Supervise and Guide Nursing Staff: Oversee and guide the work of other nursing and support staff, ensuring that patients receive quality care and that nursing staff are working efficiently.
- Ensure Adherence to Standards and Policies: Ensure that patients receive care in accordance with facility policies and procedures, and the rules and regulations of the State Board of Nursing and hospital policies.
- Provide Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on health promotion activities, disease prevention, and treatment plans to ensure they are empowered to manage their health.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: A bachelor's degree in nursing is required for this role.
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, including in-depth experience in the required specialty.
- Proficiency in English: Proficiency in English is required, with Arabic being a plus.
- Dataflow and Prometric: Experience with dataflow and prometric systems is an asset.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
