About the Role

The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for leading the Instrumentation maintenance team at the Yanbu site. This includes scheduling and organizing maintenance activities on Instrumentation facilities, preparing and managing quality assurance and reliability documents, instructing and supervising contractors, and providing support to the pipeline team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Safety and Compliance: Ensure a high level of safety in all work activities, and ensure that team members and contractors work safely in compliance with Air Liquide safety requirements.
  2. Maintenance and Reliability: Lead the Instrumentation maintenance team, provide information and participate in long-term maintenance schedules, schedule and perform maintenance on time at the best cost without compromising safety and reliability, and implement predictive and preventive maintenance plans.
  3. Reliability Improvement: Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) analysis, implement actions in the field of activities, promote best practices in the team, participate in vulnerability studies, and suggest improvements and implement Instrumentation modifications.
  4. Purchasing and Contractors: Support the Maintenance Manager in the purchasing process, provide technical support for purchasing, and supervise contractors for safety and quality during site works.
  5. Training and Development: Support the Maintenance Manager in defining training plans for the team, implement training plans, and evaluate and level-up competencies of technicians.
  6. Reporting and Documentation: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance works reports, verify spare parts stock bi-annually, and report on maintenance activities.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Training or Certification: Control System program, Discipline Engineering - Industrial Transmitters, valves, analyzers, CMMS

Work Experience: 8 years + in the field of refinery

Foreign Language: English (Fluent)

Technical Expertise: Instrumentation, Analyzer, DCS, PLC, Maximo

Key Fields: Knowledge and know-how specific to the job, Management and behavior skills
