Job Description

Role Purpose: As a BIM Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and performing structural engineering 3D-BIM modeling and developing designs as per the inputs received. You will also conduct periodic model reviews and coordinate with other disciplines to achieve the company's goals for client deliverables.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  1. Develop and create structural BIM models and design drawings in accordance with the Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards and company guidelines.
  2. Collaborate with the engineering team to collect project requirements and ensure consistency and coordination between all design trades.
  3. Prepare structural design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
  4. Extract material quantities from BIM for quantity submission to the quantity surveyor teams.
  5. Perform self-eye technical reviews on structural drawings and conduct quality assurance checks.
  6. Attend technical meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss project progress and requirements.
  7. Develop and maintain BIM standards and norms as per the company's requirements.
  8. Responsible for archiving and tracking BIM records.

Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering)

Years of Experience: 9 years in the field of BIM and engineering design.

Job-Specific Skills: Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navis Works, STAAD.Pro, Lumion, and Tekla. Experience with Scan To BIM Software such as ReCap to BIM Model.

Generic Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
