Event Planning Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the marketing team and sales support, ensuring effective brand promotion through B2C marketing strategies.
The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in event management and B2C marketing, strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, good knowledge of modern marketing techniques and social media platforms, proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools, and experience working with advertising and marketing agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor marketing team day-to-day activities and sales support in order to promote company image within marketing plans.
- Help and support Marketing Department Head in setting annual plans and implementing them.
- Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise awareness about the company and its brands.
- Monitor the implementation of approved advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print, etc.).
- Collaborate with other departments to prepare any specific campaigns or brochures.
- Conduct research and analyses about market trends in marketing campaigns or any other information that affects marketing strategies.
- Follow up with marketing services providers to ensure designs or services reflect the company image.
- Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials.
- Monitor collaboration with sales departments to prepare specific campaigns, presentations, brochures, and content.
- Facilitate the process of supplier registration by submitting required documents to the customer in coordination with the sales team.
Policies, Processes and Procedures:
- Implement approved Marketing policies, processes, and procedures and provide instructions to subordinates while monitoring adherence.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices.
- Support in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
Safety, Health and Environment:
- Comply with all relevant safety, health, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
- Participate in incident and accident investigations as required.
- Report on changes within AIC that impact relevant safety, health, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
People Management:
- Supervise, guide, and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of direct reports.
- Generate commitment, motivation, and enthusiasm towards team goals.
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor workflow.
- Provide opportunities for team members to suggest and participate in improvement initiatives.
