Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Pipeline Design Engineer to join our client's team in Saudi Arabia.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice and solutions to complex problems encountered by the pipeline team on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review pipeline engineering studies, design drawings, and documents, and materials and equipment specifications.
  • Resolve specialty-related pipeline engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
  • Establish the scope of work for each project or proposal.
  • Assist the Department Head in developing organizational procedures, methods, and controls.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards and procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments and clients.
  • Conduct technical investigations and research.
  • Assist the Department Head in the development of long-range plans and establishing project objectives and priorities.
  • Provide expert advice on pipeline engineering design, process, and other methods.

Requirements

  • BS Engineering and registered as a professional engineer with significant experience of 20 years.
  • Experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore industries and recognized as a specialist in pipeline engineering field on large to mega projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
