About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Equipment Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia - Jeddah. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and reliability of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on all manufacturing, filling, labeling, and packaging machines.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks as per schedule.
- Carry out electrical checks periodically using written procedures.
- Develop and implement new preventive maintenance routines to minimize downtime.
- Assist with machine changeovers and set up as agreed with production teams.
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults on a day-to-day basis.
- Work with electrical and mechanical professionals to resolve complex breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and review breakdown history.
- Operate within established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent diploma with relevant experience.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
