Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our construction team at WSP. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Lead and mentor site teams, promoting efficient communication and collaboration among departments.
  • Review project documents, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Document site activities, progress reports, and compliance records properly.
  • Address technical challenges and provide expert guidance to the execution team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or related field).
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in construction project execution.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with a consultant organization in project execution, preferably on construction sites within the last decade.
  • Proven experience in executing at least one STP project (preferably within the last 5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and execution strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and quality assurance practices.
