A fantastic opportunity offered by our client, a leading MEP specialist construction company for the position of Electrical Project Engineer.

The successful candidate must ensure the accurate engineering and execution of all electrical equipment/works executed in projects as per design specifications and engineering standards at minimum cost and in accordance with QA/QC and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure collection and dissemination of pertinent project information
  2. Technical specification review and resolution
  3. Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve timely results including follow-up with external suppliers
  4. Close collaboration with Procurement and Quality departments to present quotations in a professional manner
  5. Installation of electrical works in a productive manner following standard QA and HSE procedures
  6. Perform work involving conventional methods and types of plans, investigations, surveys, structure or equipment with relatively few complex features
  7. Ensure necessary competence level to achieve project targets
  8. Coordinate with Engineering, Planning and Quality departments
  9. Maintain records of project progress in-line with project report requirements and company procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years experience in MEP Building Services Industry with advanced knowledge obtainable through a combination of experience and continuing education
  • Strong AutoCAD experience highly desirable
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in Mechanical Building Services Industry
