Job Summary:

The Head of Meat Operations is a critical role in our hotel's culinary team, responsible for overseeing the entire meat production process. This includes managing inventory, planning productions, and implementing quality control measures to deliver exceptional products to our guests.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate daily meat deliveries to ensure timely receipt of fresh produce.
  2. Supervise the production of meat products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and food safety guidelines.
  3. Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices, improve product quality, and increase service reliability.
  4. Monitor labor costs and develop strategies to reduce expenses without compromising product quality or service levels.
  5. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of meat products, including ingredients, nutritional content, and storage requirements.
  6. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Section Heads to design and implement menu changes, recipe updates, and quality enhancements.
  7. Foster open communication among team members to promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Secondary school certificate or equivalent level of education.
  • Two years of experience in meat production management or similar role.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language is an advantage.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and Internet).
