Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Giza Systems KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the country's tax reporting process, overseeing tax payments, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Tax Reporting Process: Oversee the preparation of tax payments, manage the country's tax statements and returns, and report budgetary concerns and taxation effects of business decisions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure local internal taxes (VAT, Income, Payroll, stamp, etc.) are in compliance with the country's laws and regulations.
  • Lead Tax Audits: Lead all internal & external tax audits, manage the preparation of essential documents required for tax inspection purposes, and review the tax authority's inspection report to identify and resolve issues raised.
  • Monitor Tax Developments: Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team, and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
  • Manage Tax Settlements: Manage the settlement of the company's monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes.
  • Coordinate with Finance Team: Coordinate with company controllers and other finance staff to gather details for income tax returns.
  • Improve Processes: Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices, find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures, and monitor E-Invoices and reconcile them with internal tax reports.
  • Lead and Mentor Team: Set subordinates' individual objectives, manage their performance, provide necessary feedback and coaching, cooperate with Human Resources to recruit, develop, and manage the appraisal of the team, manage and mentor the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide Guidance and Training: Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on financial matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in the Finance, Accounting, and Tax field.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical skills, excellent people management skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and excellent command of English.
