Job Description:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients known for their commitment to quality and innovation. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining Progress DB architecture, ensuring seamless database performance and data security. You will also be responsible for supporting Progress DB replication, dump and load processes, table partitioning, and migration. Additionally, you will create and manage PASOE application servers, implement OpenEdge management, and perform Progress classical AppServer maintenance tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Progress SQL, including knowledge of authentication and authorization, Microsoft SQL Server architecture, and management. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, with at least two years in a Senior DBA position. A Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field is also necessary. Proficiency in ODBC and JDBC connections, as well as table move and schema changes, is essential. Experience with OpenEdge STS (authentication and authorization), Progress PASOE load balancing, and Progress OpenEdge TDE is highly desirable.
