Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality interventional radiology care to patients, as well as supervising fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents. They will also actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in their area of expertise and contribute to research activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing Expert Care: Deliver high-quality interventional radiology care to patients, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Supervisory Role: Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Training and Education: Actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in their area of expertise, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Research Contributions: Contribute to research activities, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in interventional radiology and applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
  • Administrative Functions: Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed, supporting the smooth operation of the department.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education: A medical degree from a reputable institution and completion of required training in specialty and/or subspecialty.

Certifications: Saudi Arabian or American/European Board Certification or equivalent, as well as membership and/or fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship experience in specialty, with registration as a member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

References: Positive professional references attesting to your skills and ethical conduct.
