Job Overview

We're seeking a Product Design Manager to lead our design discipline and drive user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing products. This managerial role involves collaborating across departments to define and scale Product Design and UX writing & research. You'll own the Product Design team's success, improve design processes, and empower the company for innovation and accessibility.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with designers, product leaders, and engineering managers to shape our design strategy and roadmap.
  2. Foster a high-performing design culture by mentoring junior designers and providing growth opportunities.
  3. Scope project work and help define strategies, roadmaps, and timelines to implement them.
  4. Act as a coach for the team, providing technical guidance and support.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in setting and guiding design direction and processes.
  2. Excellent visual and interaction design skills, with a strong portfolio.
  3. Ability to scope project work and collaborate proactively with product leaders and engineers.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  5. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and set vision.
