Contribute to Strategic Objectives

Foster innovation, develop business opportunities, and drive the launch and management of special funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement business development initiatives and apply innovation methodologies to support growth.
  • Maintain effective business development frameworks and processes for smooth operations.
  • Allocate resources and tasks within the team for efficient completion.
  • Promote high levels of productivity and collaboration.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS TO ACHIEVE BUSINESS OBJECTIVES.
  • Develop and launch Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) to explore new business opportunities.
  • Share relevant business development insights within the organization.
  • Establish well-established processes for efficient operations.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment that encourages idea generation and problem-solving.
  • Monitor and update portfolios of Business Development functions regularly.
  • Stay informed about trade trends and challenges in member countries and identify opportunities for potential business solutions.
  • Collaborate with Trade Finance and Trade Development teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Assist in managing the New Product development process and collaborate with IsDBG Shari'ah body.
  • Manage and operate the Governance Structure of the Trade Development Fund.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on the Operational, Administrative & Financial Plans for the Trade Development Fund.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, Islamic finance, or related fields.
  • Development of New Business Lines - Intermediate
  • Research & Analysis - Intermediate
  • Project Design & Management - Intermediate
  • Cross-Border Trade Processes - Intermediate
  • Innovation Management - Intermediate
  • International Trade Landscape - Beginner
  • Networking & Relationship Management - Intermediate
  • English is compulsory; Arabic or French are preferable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
