- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and staff across multiple departments, developing and executing shift plans to meet daily operational objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with standards related to health & safety, housekeeping, food safety, accuracy, discipline, and performance.
- Supervise activities including receiving, storage, testing, and shipment of materials/products, handling customer or shipper complaints not resolved by Warehouse Supervisors.
- Disciplinary Procedures: Uphold disciplinary procedures and address breaches of conduct or performance standards, maintaining, reviewing, and updating standard and emergency operating procedures.
- Plan and implement facility enhancements, including equipment purchases or layout redesigns, monitoring, tracking, and managing warehouse inventory levels.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Inspect warehouse operations regularly to ensure safety and cleanliness, providing leadership, training, and support to warehouse staff to build capacity and improve performance.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MIS, Business Management, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with proven supervisory or managerial responsibility, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, ability to analyze and resolve moderate to complex operational challenges. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
