We are seeking an experienced Urban Planning Specialist to join our team at Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, with expertise in transportation systems, infrastructure development, and environmental policy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising senior client managers on issues related to infrastructure and transport planning and requirements for new and renewed urban, housing, and mixed use developments and re-developments.
- Collaborating effectively with stakeholders to obtain the needed information to provide appropriate advice and recommendations.
- Reviewing and commenting on various development and redevelopment masterplans in terms of infrastructure and transport needs.
- Providing technical guidance to young professionals and trainees.
Requirements
- A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Urban/Environmental Planning or a related field from a highly accredited Western country university/institution.
- Typically 15+ years of related work experience, with at least 10 years in a developed Western country.
- At least 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Region.
- Excellent communication (presentations, written and spoken) skills in English language.
- Thorough knowledge of urban/infrastructure/environmental planning practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in utilizing PC and various software packages typically used in urban/environmental planning assignments.
