Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage and optimize the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system operations and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system administration, ERP management, and IT process improvements.

This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems, enabling the company to achieve its business objectives efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Company Systems Management:

  • Design and implement system integrations to facilitate seamless data flow across the ERP, website, and other business applications.
  • Manage and maintain the company's website and internal IT solutions, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the performance, security, and availability of the company's website and digital platforms.
  • Implement system updates, enhancements, and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with external vendors when necessary.
  • Document system workflows and ensure alignment with business needs.

ERP System Management:

  • Lead the implementation, customization, and configuration of the company's ERP system.
  • Ensure smooth ERP operations, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform routine updates, security patches, and backups to enhance system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and provide user training and support as needed.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize ERP performance to meet evolving business requirements.

IT Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current IT processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive strategic improvements.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation for standardization and scalability.
  • Implement IT best practices, including strong security protocols and risk mitigation measures.

General IT Support:

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in system administration.
  • Participate in IT-related projects, providing technical expertise and recommendations.

Custom IT Solutions Management:

  • Define scope and technical requirements for internal IT solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of new IT solutions, utilizing in-house resources or third-party vendors.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for custom IT solutions and services.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7-14 years of proven experience in system administration roles.
  • Extensive experience in ERP system management (experience with Odoo ERP is a strong advantage).
  • Hands-on experience with website administration, including security and performance tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
