Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Da Home Care. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures utilizing magnetic resonance scanners.
Key Responsibilities- Review exam orders and prepare for exams as needed.
- Explain procedures to patients and prepare equipment, supplies, contrast media, and medications.
- Adjust and operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to scan designated anatomical areas.
- Assist in injection of contrast media and monitor patient condition during and after scan.
- Retrieve information from computer and process information in the proper format for interpretation by the Radiologist and/or archiving.
- Evaluate completed tests for quality and completeness and document all studies performed.
- Record all required information and label films in sequence.
- Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and/or continuing education and assist in training and supervision of students, interns, and trainees.
- Bachelor's or Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or successful completion of specialized training at KFSH in Radiological Sciences/Technology is required.
- Two (2) years with Bachelor's or four (4) years of related experience with training program is required for Grade 8.
- Four (4) years as a MRI Technologist at KFSH&RC or (Grade 08) related experience is required for Grade 9.
- Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
- Registration in Radiography with American Registry of Radiographic Technologist, the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists, or equivalent is required for non-Saudis.
