Job Description

Jasara Program Management Company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Logistics to lead our logistics operations. In this critical role, you will oversee logistics strategy, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and operations run smoothly from initiation to completion.

You will support the Senior Director of logistics in all logistics and construction activities, developing the logistics plan and strategy to support the construction of fixed assets. Produce lookahead plans based on commodity demands for logistics and identify key pinch points to ensure they are managed and mitigated.

You will develop the scope of services for all construction logistics works to augment the delivery of infrastructure and mixed-use assets. Develop logistics onboarding plans for all contractors to ensure consistency with all processes and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage team deliverables through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance, and developing the team to maximize performance.
  • Work proactively with District/Project Leadership and teams to implement and deliver assets in line with Logistic policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Translate project construction logistics materials requirements into effective construction logistics plans that comply with the project logistics strategy.
  • Support the construction logistics team, the 3rd party construction logistics partner, and the construction projects by ensuring Delivery Management System is set up and effective.
  • Evaluate project and contractor construction logistics requirements and demand to ensure effective, efficient, compliant, and safe delivery.
  • Develop and manage logistics budget and cash flow forecasting.
  • Review operational procedures and method statements.
  • Collaborate with Asset teams to ensure logistics coordination is effective.
  • Plan and monitor the allocated use of land/plots and requests for temporary lay down areas.
  • Manage procured logistics services to deliver their package of goods.
  • Manage variation control and early communication of foreseeable change.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of procurement and commercial processes in operation.
  • Define and record Contractor, Supervision Consultant, and Supplier logistics key performance indicators.
  • Review assurance of equipment inspection, maintenance, and testing in line with standards.
  • Monitor Project Progress and develop planning and coordination strategy.
  • Set and monitor security requirements in line with Policy.
  • Establish and monitor stockpile planning to support effective construction delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices.
