Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Safety Inspector to join our team. As a Safety Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and visitors.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

1. Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
2. Investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
3. Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
4. Providing training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
5. Collaborating with management and employees to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
6. Staying up-to-date with new health and safety legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
7. Developing and maintaining health and safety records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

It would be beneficial if you have:

• OSHA certification or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role or industry.
