Salla is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls in AWS to protect our cloud infrastructure, applications, and internal tools.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Security Controls: Implement security controls in AWS to enforce cloud security best practices.
  • Conducting Penetration Tests: Identify vulnerabilities in our APIs and internal applications, and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Developing Security Tools: Create and maintain security tools using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages to automate security tasks.
  • Integrating Security into CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with our development and operations teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated into our continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Securing Source Code and Infrastructure: Use GitHub security features (e.g., Dependabot, CodeQL) to secure our source code and infrastructure.
  • Automating Security Policies: Preferably use Terraform to automate security policies and cloud resources.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and remediation for APIs and web applications.
  • 2 years+ of experience as a minimum as a Cyber Security Engineer.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) for automating security tasks.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles (AWS experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with GitHub security best practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience with WAF configuration and security rule management.
